Indore, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College’s Super Specialty Hospital. At the same event, he also opened a new (G+2) block at the Government Dental College, which was constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 6 crore. The advanced CT scan machine, provided by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, is expected to greatly enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. CM Yadav officially launched the new facilities by cutting the ribbon for the CT scan room and receiving a detailed presentation about the machine and the new building. The Government Dental College will also receive an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units, further improving the facilities available to students and outpatients. Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that these enhancements signal the government's dedication to enhancing healthcare services in the state. Additionally, during his visit to Indore, he announced the upcoming establishment of India's largest inter-state bus terminal at MR-10, which is scheduled to be operational by December. The terminal, designed like an airport, will serve as a prominent landmark for the city and the state, contributing significantly to its infrastructure.The construction, especially in anticipation of the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering, is a significant development. The 15-acre terminal, built at a cost of Rs 101 crore by IDA, is expected to greatly improve the travel experience for passengers. It is designed to accommodate up to 80,000 passengers daily and house 1,440 buses continuously. The ISBT will include 14 ticket counters, a parking facility for 1,000 vehicles, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and other amenities. The CM inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College and assured employees of Sanchi Dairy Plant that there will be no layoffs. The MP government aims to strengthen the state's dairy sector and support dairy cooperatives. Moreover, the statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi was unveiled by the CM in the city forest. The statue, built at a cost of Rs 30 lakhs, pays tribute to Bishnoi and her community's sacrifice to protect the environment. During his visit to Indore, the CM sought blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for around 50,000 people.
